the power of LinkedIn
Posted by arisetyo | Filed under review
Dan tentu saja all my friends are at Friendster. Tapi hanya LinkedIn yang menghasilkan duit :D. I’ve got one project and one job interview since I joined LinkedIn about a month ago.

The Dark Knight

di akhir filem Batman Begins (2005), gordon memperlihatkan “calling card” seorang penjahat. semua penggemar batman pasti langsung tau what to expect or whether or not would there be a sequel.. it’s the Joker.
i remember wondering what kind of Joker would it be. well of course jack nicholson’s Joker (Batman, 1989) was pretty hard to beat. i didnt think it could get any darker.. boy, was i wrong. fucking wrong indeed. not only i underestimated cristopher nolan’s ability to make batman “dark” again, i also underestimated this man. mister Heath Ledger.

Why cant I be a lucky bastard like Jason Statham’s characters. Have been following this guy since Guy Ritchie’s “Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels”. And in “Tansporter”, where he played alongside Hsu Qi… damn lucky son-of-a-bitch!

Serendipity (2004)

If romance is in the hands of fate, and love is bound by destiny, then “Serendipity” is the most romantic movie ever made. Not because of the lovely New York setting, the music, or the perfectly-cast leading stars (John Cussack and Kate Beckinsale), but by proving that, “once in a lifetime” can happen twice. If it is what you need to meet your true soulmate, then that perfect moment, when the whole universe existed to bring you two together, no matter the odds, can and will happen again..

Angkat empat jempol (8, kalo minjem jempol istri tercinta) buat Leigh Whannell dan James Wan for their sick, twisted, and very unexpected story. ANJRIITT!!!!!! WHAT A PLOT!!!
These are the two scenes I like best :
- The scene where Dr.Lawrence (Cary Elwes), out of desperation, cut his own legs with a fucking saw!!! The emotions and the tension is so real, I got tingles down my spine!! Creepy man…creepy
- And the moment when the Jigsaw killer emerge, … man, I was literally jumped off of my seat!!
(And all those set-up murders are so insane!)
But,… I was a bit dissapointed with the physical appearance of the sociopath, Jigsaw. He simply wasn’t scary enough. But hey, don’t take it from me.. you got to see it for yourself.
Stay SICK!!
